Hey, we are tokio hotel
have you bought all your christmas presents yet?
B: I have to say,I love giving christmas gifts.
but I am totally sloppy when it comes to that,
most of the time I wait till right before christmas and buy everything.
but there are not so many people that I give gifts to.
In the band, we do not give eachother gifts,we don’t give birthday gifts either. that is too tiring.
we thought we should better leave it,and we did try it once.
G: did we ever do that, I don’t know..
B: i don’t know either, I think we tried it once.
T: but I have to say,I am really uncreative when it comes to things like that.
I don’t know what to get them. I never get them anything that really fits to them.
as a matter of fact,I didnt buy anything this year
B: but I….
G: i don’t even have any ideas..
B: but I love to give gifts anyways. I love it when you see people unwrapping and to make people happy.
and ofcourse i like recieving presents, that is clear.
people who don’t bring gifts are not welcome..
Can you give us tips for last minute christmas presents?
B: what is always good are giftcertificates.
when you can not get them delivered or go there anymore, then you can write your own.
that is always nice.
G mumbles something I can’t understand..
B: so giftcertificates are always good and besides that.. I don’t know.
I think the most important at christmas is being together.
in any case, that is what was really really important to me to spend time together. and than you celevrate with family and ofcourse good food.
for me the best part of christmas was the absolutely delicious food and all the cookies and all the other things.
or going to the gasstation to buy flowers or a bottle of champagne or something.
What is your favorite food at christmas?
I have to say, I always have enjoyed eating duck,jaah. we always had that.
and besides that ofcourse all the time there is christmasbread. (stolle)
I really like the marzipan stuff and such.
T: gluhwein is cool. there has to be gluhwein in the house at all times then.
B: yeah,that is total cool, cause gluhwein, you can get it at every gasstation in this time of year. you can drink it the entire time, it is totally relaxing, I think they should have it all year round, so you can get gluhwein all the time.
Do you have plans for new years?
B: Well, Tom and I, we will go on vacation again ofcourse.
we are not there, we do that every year.
T: Ibiza
B: yeah, we go to Ibiza and relax there.
so new years is really quiet with us.
but I have to say I like both.
in the past I used to like, to take my backpack and fill it with all sorts of things.
T: I just wanted to say that. normally with new years it is soooo cool to just take your backpack and fill it with fireworks and all those cheap illegal things , and we used to create a lot of trouble with that.
that was the most awesome thing!
B: and then to go to parties of out friends or to student parties, to which we were not invited and then to go there anyway and eat everything till it is all gone and then go somewhere else with the entire group of friends.
T: that was the most awesome new years. we don’t them like that anymore.B: but now we celebrate new years relaxed.
we used to do these things always and now it is also fun to relax on an island and that is ofcourse also great fun.
What was the highlight for you in 2008?
B: highlight, well ofcourse one of the highlights was the VMA, atleast I think so.
that was such a great thing for us in 2008 and ofcourse…yeah, how do i say this.. there are so many different things.
The english album ofcourse and the entire tour in the states.
Ofcourse also the concerts in Europe and in Germany.
It is really hard to choose just one thing. there are really so many things that we surely won’t forget.
I think 2008 will stay on our minds as the most succesfull Tokio Hotel year we have had.
What are your wishes for 2009?
B: Well, I, We are concentrating on our new album.
we are so looking forward, that people will hear it for the first time and we are really anxious to see the reactions, because we have tried out a lot of new things. and also really different songs and ofcourse we are looking forward to playing Live and it also is a dream of us in any case, to play a worldtour once. maybe it will work, that we will be able to go around the entire world sometime at the end of the year.
and ofcourse we still want to go to japan.
T: and so private things? Georg wants to try to loose his virginity next year.
G: no, I have delayed that untill 2010.
in 2009 it is still very unrealistic…
